ACTUALIZADO: The New York Times confirma la muerte de Vic Chesnutt, comunicada por un portavoz de la familia. Al parecer, entró en coma hace unos días al tomar un exceso de relajantes musculares y murió anoche en un hospital de Athens. Este ha sido el último mensaje de Kristin Hersh: he’s gone…so much to go away in a moment. Tenía 45 años.
Triste noticia el día de Navidad. En algunas webs han anunciado la muerte de Vic Chesnutt, que aparentemente intentó suicidarse. De momento, Pitchfork dice que la noticia del fallecimiento es prematura y que la últimas noticias indican que está en coma. Desde Spinner y Examiner confirman la muerte. Su amiga, Kristin Hersh decía esto desde su twitter: yeah, i can tell you what i know, but no one knows much: another suicide attempt, looks bad, coma–if he survives, there may be brain damage .
